In the early 1960's young french-born American designer Oleg Cassini became one of the most influential designers of the decade when the white house announced he would be designing all of first lady's Jacqueline Kennedy's clothing.  In the few years of the presidency Cassini designed over 300 outfits for the first lady featuring simple dresses in sumptious fabrics, pill-box hats to lend an aura of elegance, and boxy jackets with large buttons.

Cassini died in 2006 and left a legacy of influential designs for the new millenium.  Today you can browse Cassini's designs and own an original from Spotlight Vintage.
